When Bolivian President Evo Morales took the stage to inaugurate the World People's Summit on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth on Tuesday, April 20, in Cochabamba, he gave his thousands of politically correct attendees a surprise. Somewhere between appealing for an international climate-change court and questioning why the U.N. still uses plastic cups, Morales went after genetically modified foods — by making a comment that some think meant that hormones cause homosexuality.

As usual, this is getting blown out of proportion and taking out of context. Evo was making jabs about GM food, which is known to cause changes in hormone levels and even cancer. He also made the jab that Coca - Cola is the poor man's Draino.

Of course, the gay community is all up in arms. However, they just recently declared that bisexuals aren't "gay enough" to join their softball league. I am sorry, but you can't argue for political correctness and practice discriminatory behavior at the same time.

Who cares about the US snubbing them on Climate Change funding? After all, like most developing nations, they are suffering severe consequences that they did not cause. Instead of being upset at the social injustices that Bolivia is facing over AGW that they didn't cause, people are going to gravitate to a comment and blow it out of proportion.

Agree. That's a very peculiarly arranged article.
