Why does Hanna Montana sell more concert tickets than the Ring of the Nibelung?
One reason might be an association of many parts of the Ring cycle with WW2 Germany. For example, watching a flight of Ju-85s ie Stukas make a strike to the tune of the "Ride of the Walkyries". How about the sight of Russians stroming Berlin to the strains of Gotterdammerung.

That was a good thing, though.
Before the Nazis, "Ride of the Valkyries" was the ride-to-the-rescue theme for the KKK in Birth of a Nation. We all know it from Apocalypse Now, where it's used kinda more ambiguously.

YOu realize that ZERO jewish weddings play wagner music, right? Maybe Americans would rather listen to Hannah Montannah than an antisemite nazi before their time?

Is The Love Theme from Hanna Montana played at Jewish weddings? I didnt know that.
You have these movies like Rendition, or other movies where american is horrible, BOOOOOSH evil, type movies, and tehy always bomb at the box office. why?
Like liberal talk radio, they are unintersting and based in lies. It is the same reason that a full length feature film "Ass" (as in the movie Idiocracy) has not been a box office smash. People (at least for now) are too smart to listen to liberal BS as well as to watch two hours of someone's butt in the act of farting on film. When the average IQ of Americans drops below 80, liberalism and "Ass" will be popular.

There was an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry David(a Jew)got into a grudge with a by a neighbor(also a Jew) for whistling a Wagner tune...He gets revenge by conducting an orchestra playing Wagner on his neighbor's lawn.
I like Wagner--does that make me an anti-Semite? It's funny that this is coming up in this thread, because Wagner's style is highly evident in a lot of the film scores of modern action and science fiction blockbusters.

Because there are far too many citizens who actually believe their narcissism is valid ID and are fearful/ weak minded about any version of criticism. Irony is our ability to self examine and improve our course into the future is the thing that made us great. They're shooting down what keeps us honest.
We're only strong when we're walking our talk. That is unless they deep down believe everything about America is BS, then it's perfectly logical why they'd fear criticism.
Isn't it weird how that applies to both extremes of liberal and conservative???
