Lock him up and throw away the key. No need for fancy shmancy lawyers because the president says this US citizen is a threat.

The bill is proposed by a Republican and all of the cosponsors except then independent Lieberman are Republicans yet you think this is going to be used to detain tea partiers and "patriots"? What planet do you live on?

I hope this bill is shot down, but lol.

When will people realize that the Tea Party Patriots are not just mad at a certain political group but are mad at the government period. They want less government and more freedom. It does not matter who is running the show republicans or democrats.Hell by now I am surprised you can find anything different between the 2.They both care less about America and more about their own selfish wants and what their lobbies want.

Oh and Mccain is the farthest thing from a Republican their is. That man is a joke. He is more liberal than some democrats are. Wow. In all reality they are trying to do away with our 5th and 6th amendments.

I liked the first comment.

"McCain was a war hero? For which side?"

It also goes to show since McCain has been a federal employee his entire life and like Obama has never run a business nor really contributed to the private sector.

First of all, the Tea Partiers are overwhelmingly conservative, don't delude yourself. Second of all, McCain is nowhere near the left. Third of all:

Quote:
Cosponsors of the bill include Democrat/independent Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut and Republicans Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, Jeff Sessions of Alabama, Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, David Vitter of Louisiana, George LeMieux of Florida, and Roger Wicker of Mississippi.
So again, defend your claim that this bill is aimed at detaining Tea Partiers and "patriots"

Well who else to you expect it to be aimed at? To me McCain is a liberal he wanted amnesty a few years back for illegals this man is no conservative and certainly not a conservative constitutionalist like the Tea Party Folks. Who else in this country could this be aimed at?

I know the Tea Party folks are overwhelmingly conservative but mccain is not! Maybe not near the left but certainly not near the right either.
