The article says "Mr McDonald (British Ambassador in Tel Aviv) and Dr. Jenkins (British Consul General in Jerusalem) denied that the British had ever been warned, adding even if they had "That does not dissolve those who planted the bomb of the responsibility for the deaths.""
Sorry, can't let that one go by. Even a British government investigation did not deny that there were warnings. "Terrorists" don't attempt to evacuate their target. As an aside, in contrast to Arab attacks against Jews, which were widely hailed as heroic actions, the Jewish National Council denounced the bombing of the King David.
"However, what the British Government said, five months after the bombing, once the subsequent inquest and all the inquiries had been completed, was not that no warning had been sent, but that no such warning had been received by anyone at the Secretariat "in an official position with any power to take action."[14] American author Thurston Clarke's analysis of the bombing gave timings for calls and for the explosion which he says took place at 12:37. He said that as part of the Irgun plan, a sixteen year old recruit, Adina Hay (alias Tehia), was to make three warning calls before the attack. At 12:22 the first call was made, in both Hebrew and English, to a telephone operator on the hotel's switchboard (the Secretariat and the military each had their own, separate, telephone exchanges). It was ignored.[3] At 12:27, the second warning call was made to the French Consulate adjacent to the hotel to the north-east. This second call was taken seriously and staff went through the building opening windows and closing curtains to lessen the impact of the blast. At 12:31 a third and final warning call to the Palestine Post newspaper was made. The telephone operator called the Palestine Police CID to report the message. She then called the hotel switchboard. The hotel operator reported the threat to one of the hotel managers. This warning resulted in the discovery of the milk churns in the basement, but by then it was too late." Calm down, please.
Obama's response could not have been weaker. Do you really think that the British didn't inform him beforehand to make sure that Obama would just go through the motions? So O was "disappointed"? Come now. Obama knows how to be tough when he wants to be.

Anyway, we all know now that the reason for the release was a British sham. So where is Obama now?
Imagine how the families must feel.
He denounced it and clearly stated his opposition. He's the President of the United States, not Scotland, and he doesn't have the authority to stop the release. Did you expect him to order Britain to not go through with the release? As for your sources, they are highly opinionated, and the only ones that actually offer anything truly negative about Obama's handling were the ones made by people with obviously partisan motivations. The "stoptheaclu" one was particularly amusing, since it took some rather vague comments from anonymous British officials as 'evidence' that Obama personally approved of it.
I stand by my statement. Sanrene said that this guy had Obama's "blessing" and in doing so told a blatant lie. Obama denounced the decisision to release Mehragi, there is no way to deny that without being deliberately dishonest.
has it been 5 months since his release? That's what the "doctors" gave him.
