It's funny every time I see food labels, signs, packaging, etc. in both English and Spanish. I often make jokes about this building should be repainted green inside, the US flag should have a green stripe, etc.

I don't have an issue with signs being English and another language.

But increasingly in my area I'm seeing store names (I assume) that are ONLY in Farsi or Russian, which is pretty much a "everybody else stay away."

It is getting ridiculous in the USA.. a friend of mine went to the doctor and the doctor could speak a little English and could hardly understand English.. this friend could not explain to the doctor what was his symptoms or the doctor to understand what he was saying..

It is also dangerous at the workplace if safety is key with understanding each other. A job site can be hazardous if communication is lost. Try to do business with someone who speaks little English. It can be very frustrating to get them to understand what you are trying to tell them.

Illegals can become lawyers in our nation, it is not that much of a stretch.
