What part of you DO buy something and are therefore being gouged for the advertising of everyone who was involved in selling it to you do you not understand?

It amazes me how much some people will try to put a square peg into a round hole.

If you buy handcrafted soda you are not being gouged, as they have limited advertising costs. Is there an organic healthy alternative to our empty calorie congresspeople?

Having "representatives" vote on how much money they should steal from everyone else to fund their "pay" is like having private bankers have a monopoly over our currency...oh wait...damn!

Not trying to be obtuse, I just want to understand.

So if I mostly just drink tap water filtered in a Brita filter-pitcher, I'm paying for the advertising budget of Pepsi?

Way to grasp the big picture, CH. And taxes aren't taken from you any more forcibly than payment for any other goods and services. Don't think so? Go down to the grocery store, fiill up a cart, then try to dash out without paying. Tell the arresting officers that they're using excessive force on you. They always like to hear that one...

To be fair, their salary isnt really out of line with their job requirements, but it is odd to have them vote on their own paycheck..

I ask again, what purpose was served by posting the pictures? What information pertinent to the actual thread topic was conveyed by them? There isn't any. The ONLY reason for posting the pictures was to carry the message of RACE...
