Anyone think that the attempted Times Square bombing was just a dress rehearsal for a dirty bomb? It appears that they would have no problem at all with such a plan, given the botched security and failure to follow a Pakistani national on a watch list. Good job there, homeland security. You have just invited the radicals to escalate via your incompetence.
I do not think so. They would be foolish. Everyone is now on full alert for such an attack. However I would not be surprised if they tried something else.
I have a 14 year old son (white, blonde haired, blue eyed) who has the identical name as someone on the "no-fly" list. EVERYTIME we fly with him, we are pulled to a back room and questioned before our tickets are issued and we are allowed to proceed. EVERYTIME.
Now what kind of insanity is that, when a 14 year old cracker from the midwest is scrutinized to no end and a muslim terrorist on a watch list is allowed to board a plane- no problem. As I recall, my son has not spent any time in Pakistani terrorist training camps, which would warrant such scrutiny. However, our Times Square bomber has. Why was he not stopped? Because he was Muslim and the idiots in the FBI and the TSA did not want to appear to be "profiling" and offend anyone. Amazing. No one is offended when a white teenager is questioned. It gives the appearance of "doing something", when in fact those most likely to kill us are evaluated the least.
Liberalism will kill us, as the zeal to be conciliatory and not offend the muslims has created a situation in which we cannot defend ourselves. OF COURSE MUSLIMS SHOULD BE PROFILED! THEY ARE THE ONES COMMITTING ACTS OF TERRORISM AROUND THE WORLD, NOT BLONDE HAIRED, BLUE EYED 14 YEAR OLD BOYS!
Until the nation wakes up and refutes the insanity of liberalism, we will continue to be targets and will face a terrorist placed nuclear "dirty" bomb- probably within the next 10 years.

Once again the terrorist was an Islamic Jihadist who came from a wealthy family and had a good education. It just shows, once again, that these people are not driven to their actions because of poverty, living conditions, lack of oppertunity, etc. It is jihadist ideology, nothing else.

It must be really aggravating for the folks on the left, to have this perfectly good “TEA Party extremist” template going to waste.
