I want to add that if affirmative action should be done away with both black and white men would be able to get jobs that they can't get now since black women and white women come first because of the fool rule.
Employers would be able to actually hire who they want to, which is the way it should work in small businesses. When it comes to large corporations then I feel that each individual should be considered in a manner that removes all aspects of race/sex/ethnicity/etc. so that the person selected for the job is hired purely for their merit.

Well they say small business run this country so do you think small business would give people a chance outside thier own race. All races included too. There are many minority small business owners.

Pretty much a gross over-simplification as job qualifications vary with job description.
No one answer would fit all.
Affirmative action is sanctioned racism, if it were to go away (as it should) people would be hired based on their qualifications and not their skin color. People wouldn't have to work with and take up the slack for people who couldn't have gotten their jobs without the help of this racist hiring practice.
I know math is rough for some people but I've never been able to understand why people can't understand that if group A makes up 70 percent of the population and group B makes up 15 you can't dictate that a company's employee list has to be 50/50 group A/B.
