He "seemed to be right" about housing/banks only because he was the first right wing ideologue to admit anything was going wrong. Economists and those on the left had been predicting trouble on the horizon for sometime before the shyt hit the fan. During this time the right wing zealots hemmed/hawed and ignored reality claiming everything was great.
He did hammer Bush a lot.
I just think the guy wants all government to go away and get the hell out of everyones lives.
Regulating at the federal level, is control.
Originally the only control the federal government had was of our defense and our foreign affairs and trade. As long as the states had equal say, the Federal government didn't get involved, to force states equality.

First of all, we aren't. Even if we were it would take centuries, so chill out. Second, why would that be a bad thing necessarily, depending on how it was accomplished? World peace, equitable distribution of resources, conservation of the environment...lots of good things could come from it, along with the bad.
Why do you automatically assume it would be bad? It could be good, bad, and probably somewhere in between.

George Soros runs that ship. Glenn has made a point to review those very issues, Media Matters has stretched, twisted and flat out lied about.

I have researched the things Beck has talked about. Have you? Your already closed off your brains to this. Show me what he is telling Americans is a lie. Yeah, me too. And Media Matters needed start up money for sure, but it's self sufficient now -- in the millions every year. They wouldnt be doing so well if Fox, Rush et al. didnt provide them with so much material -- something new, every day

I got news for you! The Federal, State and Local Governments do not create jobs, unless it is to build a bigger bureaucracy hiring for government jobs.

Government create regulations, because they feel they can regulate better than the free market. They create these big bureaucracy's that screw it up worse than it would have been had they left it alone and let the free market fix it on its own.
