After beating up Wall Street 'fat cats,' President Obama ready to take their money in NY fund-raiser

Quote:
President Obama has been happy to beat up on Wall Street "fat cats," but tonight he'll be even happier to take their money.

The President is slated to headline a superswank, $50,000-per-couple fund-raiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee at Manhattan's gilded St. Regis hotel on Fifth Ave.
Another "new" kind of politics, right?

This phony really has no shame. The dichotomy between what he says, especially in speeches, and what he does is truly remarkable to behold.

Some New Yorkers Say Obama A Hypocrite For Coming - wcbstv.com (http://wcbstv.com/national/obama.nyc.obama.2.1693569.html - broken link)

Quote:
He met with NYPD officers whose budgets may be slashed, then took cash from the Wall Street fat cats he's very publicly ripped apart.

Three weeks ago, in a push for tougher banking regulations, the president went on verbal assault against Wall Street's big wigs. But on Thursday night Obama was taking their money as the wealthy forked over thousands of dollars for a swank fundraising dinner with him at the tony St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan.

Watching Obama bully and then beg for $$ is like a bad attempt to produce a Broadway S&M musical. Who does he think he is fooling?

Berating them publicly while influencing Congress to water down bills in their favor is what the banks will accept.
The banks are fully aware of the snow job to the American people.
Sadly..the American people aren't aware of this.

They are, but much like Obama they don't care as long as their wallets get lined as well.

Well, if nothing else the NeoConfused are consistent in their hypocrisy.

I didn't hear all this whining when Bush campaigned saying he didn't believe in using the military for nation building and proceeded to do just that. I guess ya'll are fine with pissant little cowboys saying one thing and doing another

And NO, this ain't about Bush, it's about the consistent hypocrisy of the NeoConfused.

The folks who have no issues with building infrastructure in and supplying health care to other countries while running in horror screaming SOCIALISM! at the mere mention of buying a BandAid for an American.

Talk about saying one thing and doing another

Then you were not listening.
Many were against the Patriot Act and many were against Congress declaring war.

I suppose you don't realize the same can be said for leftists.

What used to send the leftists into outrageous outrage somehow really doesn't bother them anymore.

. . . and at the same time making excuses when every reason to invade whittled away. Ended up settling with "he was a bad man anyway".
