I spent my time a workin’ for 'is majesty in 'Nam. I do not consider either Cronkite or Fonda traitors. I consider the people that supported the French Empire in Indochina from 1945 to Dien Ben Phu and the clowns we installed as rulers of South Vietnam a traitors. We had no reason to be there and we wasted out men and our treasure to defend a dead empire.
Both Cronkite and Fonda had their opinions and as free citizens, were free to speak just as you are free to differ.
