A tourist in Hawaii spends an average of $200 a day for a hotel room, meals and entertainment. But there's another class of visitors given room and board, full health care benefits and more for just $3 a day. It's not a luxury vacation package — just homeless benefits courtesy of Hawaii's taxpayers.

I have a friend that lived in Hawai and is thinking of going back.He lived in a tent when he was there and says it is easy to just live off the land. There is a fruit that grows wild{can't remember}and he ate fish and other sea creatures. If you were going to rough it Hawai would be the place to do it.

Hawaii is full of poor people.

Never live in a place where you can sleep outside, as many people will do so.
