Most Lebanese people are Christian, but make no mistake about it, she is not, she is a Shia Muslim. And I as an American proud to call her Miss USA. She is beautiful and I'm sure she'll be a fine representative of our country's beauty. If you can't get over her faith, I can't imagine how scary America's liberal and open-minded future is to going to be for you.

USA 2010 - Wasn't born in the USA., tripped on her gown, called birth control a "controlled substance", is tactless and couldn't answer the host when he asked her how she felt she said she "would tell him after she had a pizza" and last but certainly not least, won a pole dancing contest for a local radio station.
All those things SCREAM Miss USA, she's vapid, misinformed, an immigrant, and has a sprinkle of sluttish.

By the way for all you people making the burka comments, she's Lebanese, not Saudi, Iraqui, Iranian, or Pakistani. Lebanon is more westernized than those "other" muslim nations. They're closer to Turkey in the way they treat women and social customs.

I think this proves that many on the right are not happy with the results of this pageant. I am not the bit least surprised.
