So one group has a monopoloy on opinion. Muslim fundamentalists are anti gay, as are Christian fundamentalists. One doesn't cancel out the other. Oppressive countries in the Middle East don't negate Tea Party members being upset about the results of this pageant.

I see that you haven't defended the tea party either, instead you bring up an extremist conservative Muslim group. Me thinks they share much in common. Both are anti gay, both hate the USA government, both support suspending many aspects of the Constitution, and both are extremely conservative.

This thread is not about women's rights, its about the tea party aka tea baggers. I'll play you strawman and burn it. I support woman's rights and I agree that many countries, including Arab countries are oppressive and brutal towards women. You will not see me defending their policies towards women. I also support a woman's right to choose. I also view the tea party as leaning towards anti choice and bigoted. The tea party has no qualms about embracing backwards fundamentalists who have backwards views towards women.
