Go read that bill and see how much of that funding is for the "science" vs more government staff.

But hey if it says science in the description it must be purposeful.
Science is okay as long as it's attached to the defense budget.

Magically all ideas of waste and "nonsensical projects" are completely abandoned. *Makes fighter jets that never take off and go way over budget*

Read my earlier post. The GOP added an Amendment to toughen up on the language on federal officials viewing porn. However, the way that amendment was added also gutted much of the funding for the original bill.

You quoted me, yet appear to be having a conversation with yourself.
Odd.

Good news! I hope America cuts back on useless stuff like science. Besides, the pursuit of science may anger god. America wouldn't want to do that.

Odd.
If research in this bill was tied to defense would you be defending its elimination, or not?

After reading a bunch of this bill, I think that we need a bill that says Congress should not be allowed to pass any single bill that has more words than our entire Constitution.

Everything that these kooks write seems complex only for the sake of "hiding" all of the things that would never pass on their own in a million years.

If it was a bill to fund abstinence-only programs, Republicans would have supported it.

Because of the way it was brought to the floor, it required 2/3 majority. Only 15 Repubs voted for it, hence not enough. At least, there were 15 Repubs willing to act for American people. The rest, just continue to say NO.

Look at all the educated liberals clamoring to fund something that remains a mystery to them.
No wonder Obama waltzed into the Oval Office.

This thread just gave me an idea.

I'm going to open a science and technology store.
I'll label empty boxes in differing sizes and put Science on one group and Technology on another and charge according to box dimension.
I'll make sure I'm near a campus.
