Hmm, these people are hated by liberals for their hatred of gays, their social/government opinions, and now for being hypocrits. OK. If they come out as gay and apologize for the things they've said, would they then become the darling of the media and the gay community?
Does this indicate that homesexuality is indeed a mental disorder, and to some degrees a dangerous one?

If these individuals were indeed homosexuals, and actually not only hid it, but went on to effectively persecute other homesexuals - Is't that a sign of a very cruel and deviant personality disorder? A personality order indeed unique to homosexuality?

I mean you tried with your first sentence - But it was the usual cliche type of answer....And it really did not address the question.

Australian Labor MP David Campbell resigned today after being filmed leaving a gay sauna, the Herald Sun reports:
"Campbell is accused of using a ministerial car to go to a gay club in Anzac Parade, Kensington, in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, on Tuesday evening, Channel 7 reported tonight. It is alleged he stayed for two hours at Ken's, also known as KKK , which is a popular gay sauna. The club lies in Ms Keneally's electorate of Heffron. The club has a $22 entry fee and assures clients discretion as they offer services for men who prefer men. TimeOut Sydney described Ken's as 'today's most popular gay sauna ... The iconic sauna has been servicing ***** Sydney's sexual appetites for more than 25 years. Between the dimly lit steam room, sizzling sauna, glory hole maze, dark room and porn theatre, Kens caters for every taste ... Campbell is married with two children.

They do not see friendship, love, family, partners in a homosexual relationships, only ANAL SEX. That's all it is to them.
There is friendship, love, and family in a heterosexual relationship. So what's the difference between the two? The sexual structure of the relationship - that why it matters. There is a difference when you "enter into" another person.
Straight from NARTH I see. They should know a LOT about how homosexuality has "often been mishandled by therapists due to misinformation on the topic", because they are the experts at diseminating misinformation on the topic, and are often the source of a lot of the misinformation on all the anti-gay websites.
NARTH are an anti-homosexual fringe group of conservative religiously-biased psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists and lay people who "claim" to be secular. Yet Joseph Nicolosi one of the founders and presidents of NARTH, is a conservative Catholic who makes statements like: “We, as citizens, need to articulate God’s intent for human sexuality” “When we live our God-given integrity and our human dignity, there is no space for sex with a guy.” Nicolosi also served as spokesman for the far right Christian organisation Focus on the Family.
This small organisation (about 150 members) is always whining on about both the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association mostly because they (as well as many other professional peak bodies like the American Academy of Pediatrics etc) reject their practices as unethical, non scientific, ineffective and harmful.
Many of NARTH's members call themselves "ex-gays" and many have degrees in divinity or theology. You don't even have to have any professional mental health qualifications to be a member of NARTH, just as long as you agree with the ideas of it's leaders and pay your membership fees - Unlike professional mainstream organisations like the APA with over 150,000 fully qualified professional psychologists who must adhere to ethical guidelines and codes of practice.
NARTH believe that homosexual men are homosexual because they had a distant cold unloving father and an overprotective or domineering mother. This "opinion" is about 100 years out of date. There is zero empirical support for that claim anywhere in the published peer-reviewed literature.
Reparative therapy, "praying away the gay" etc mostly started with Joseph Nicolosi and NARTH.
So to "cure" homosexuals, male "therapists" hug the clients (in a non-sexual way of course ) using "touch therapy" - the client sits in the therapist's lap being held and caressed. All those "ex-gay" male therapists hugging and caressing their male clients? Sounds a bit hincky to me.
(Christopher Austin who taught seminars for NARTH, was convicted for sexually assaulting his clients and got a ten year prison sentence. )
And of course George "rentboy" Rekers was a member of the board of NARTH until he had to resign recently because he got caught taking a holiday with a "rentboy" who gave him naked massages every day.
NARTH and their "junk research" has zero credibility with any of the mainstream professional medical health organisations. Plus, if you really research any of the articles published by NARTH it's so very obvious they are so full of misrepresentation, religious prejudice, outright lies and holes you could drive a truck though. Just like the "article" you quoted.
