The media has more pressing problems to cover right now. Have you ever heard of BP and the Gulf of Mexico?
Why don't they cover the rapidity with which the federal government got involved? Could it be that they supported Obama for election and they are afraid to tell the truth?
It will all go into yesterday's news trash bin within a week. Sestak isn't talking further and FEC (or whoever should do it) sho' ain't gonna investigate.
Of course, you do know that the FEC members are appointed by the successful candidate nearly before he is "coronated".
If Issa initiates a formal ethics complaint, there will be no easy way for the White House to ignore the allegations. If subpoenas are issued and ignored, then a neon "I'm Guilty Of A Felony" sign will be erected over the White House. There will be little escaping the perception of guilt if the Issa goes ahead with his threat. Obama has a potential problem on his hands here.
Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (N.Y.) called on the White House on Monday to detail conversations it allegedly had with Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) to try to convince him to drop his Senate bid.
Weiner said that allegations that White House officials had offered Sestak an administration job in exchange for his dropping of his primary bid against Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) had become a growing political liability.
Yeah, breaking federal law would be a liability. obama was hoping this would just go away, but apparently its heating up a bit.

what it takes to get the most transparent administration ever to fess up to things they are doing is the media, en mass, demanding the information. If that doesn't happen, they just figure they'll ignore the scandal and it will eventually go away.

I am so convinced that the majority of lefties on here are definitely bought and paid for by the Obama administration. Anyone who completely agrees with 100% of the agenda coming out of Washington is a bought and paid for partisan hack. Nobody agress with ANYBODY 100% of the time.
