Why do you call him a "Tea Party" favorite? There is no such party. Rand Paul is, like his father, is a Libertarian.
Rand Paul is not even close to a Libertarian. He is pro-life, against gay marriage, pro-war and supports the current Drug War. He is nothing more than the same old GOP authoritarian paleoconservative. Both he and Glenn Beck try to falsely claim the Libertarian label while being on the opposite side of most of the traditional Libertarian platform.
She has a brain, and she uses it. She may not be smarter than Obama (he seems smart, but he's no genius); but Obama uses what he has for evil, and Palin uses hers for good.
Obama is bent on destroying our country, and out liberty; Palin seeks to preserve it.
Obama sees government as the solution to all problems; Palin sees government as the problem (and she is right).
I'll take Palin anyday over the likes of Obama, the little dictator. He is nothing but a snake.

Yes. I watched the interview also and would have to agree with you. Steele acknowledged that Paul shouldn't have made that comment at that time, but Steele was still very supportive of Paul.

- Not so fast, everybody. Rand Paul can't abruptly disavow the extremist views on civil rights that he's been espousing for years and expect us all to just move along. Was he lying then? Is he lying now? Or has the Tea Party movement's newly crowned Mad Hatter changed his mind? Republican crisis managers wisely didn't allow Paul within range of the Sunday talk shows, but they can't keep him hidden away in some Kentucky cave until November. Sooner or later, the Senate candidate is going to have to answer ....
