I've also heard that he was a disgusting racist. He segregated the Federal employees when he became President. Lena Horne's dtr also wrote a book that said that he refused to recognize the black soldier heroes that returned from World War 1 and some other hideous things. Also allowing a White House screening of Birth of a Nation and hailing it. All of this after Pres Teddy Roosevelt did so much to help race relations in this country.
He also set up the Federal REserve system and Federal Income Tax (SLAVERY). all the more reason to hate they guy.
He also had no respect for civil liberties or the First Amendment. His view of civil liberties and executive power was much like that of George W. Bush.

Darwin never said that. In fact Darwin was a fervent abolitionist.
You're confusing Darwin with the "Social Darwinism" of Herbert Spencer which Darwin had nothing to do with. One can't choose who elaborates on one's theories after one's own death.

My high school history teacher made the comment about Harding, the first US president whom women were able to vote for. Harding was considered good looking in an "older, distinguished" sort of way, which made women vote for him.
