I understand their reasoning for allowing undocumented alien students sine the person it's meant to honor was also here illegally. I don't know if I necessarily agree with it but, at the very least, they have really poor timing to be announcing something like this now.

True. Terrorism is often funded privatly as well, and I bet most folks would care about that.
