The blockade itself is heavily debated and condemned by most western countries, as well as nigh on all middle eastern countries, the UN and EU.

The blockade itself is actually in violation of international law, so it's integrity could be questioned, however:

That does not matter in this situation

This boat was attacked in international waters Israel has no jurisdiction in international waters. The occupants of the boats defended themselves from a hostile takeover. The soldiers themselves broke the law and the state of Israel broke the law, once again proving that they have no respect for due course and international law (which they're obliged to adhere to, whether they acknowledge it or not.)

The "peaceful" flotilla attempted to take members of an Israeli boarding party hostage using metal sticks and knives.

They asked for it.

It would seem that the majority of the world recognizes this sensless attack for what it is. An unlawful attack committed by Israel.
It was probably closed because somebody in the Israeli government saw it and made a phone call. It is unusual to close a thread but I have never seen one just totally disappear.

And again, and again, and again ad nauseam. The Israeli army were boarding a Turkish ship (as in: Turkish, not Israeli) in international waters. See? International waters. International as in "it's not your territory to do as you like".

Perhaps the IDF should not have boarded the boat in the first place.

Israel does not recognize it as international waters. They have the guns, they make the rules.

You are correct and They should have just let them search the ship.

No -- A moron who had no business being involved as a tool for Hamas and Hezbollah.

This explains the true motivation for the "humanitarian" aid to Gaza....

I was waiting to see which fool would bring her up.
