On the theme of American politicians and Israel...
it has been a long time since we've heard the phrase 'political suicide'. For those who were not born before the sixties and seventies that term was applied to any American politician who dared to question Israel about anything.
The politicians know that not to agree with Israel about everything can be the end of their political careers. So let's not assume that all the members of Congress that express support for Israel are doing it from the bottoms of their hearts.
