I suppose the mindless opposition would have preferred that GM come up with a new SUV rather than a concept car to test new technologies.

Maybe the new CEO appointed by Obama has a kid in the boy scouts and needed a design for an unbeatable machine in the soapbox derby???

The previous poster sent the questioner to an informative Forbes article regarding the loan. You respond to her inquiry with "lol." What does that do for the discussion?

Note: it comes off as juvenile but more so really tacky and does nothing to aid learning or discussion. Afterall, if polled, most people truly have no idea how the GM loans were divvied out. Poster with the link: +1.

No it paid back the loan with more tarp/stimulus money. SO it paid back a tax payer loan with tax payer money.

They said Hey the gov has x amount of money still sit aside for us lets use that to pay back the loan they gave us.

And yours is the type I can't stand. Crying and bellowing about nothing. Your post is no more informative than mine yet you for some reason just have to put it out to criticize me while your doing exactly the same.

Move on if you don't want to read my post but for God's sake stop whining about it.

GM can spend their own money on what they want. Until they pay me back they can stick their green machines on the back burner and build something folks want not something Fred Flintstone uses.
