Many on this forum are either too young or too senile to recall Morris' little 1996 caper that resulted in him being canned by the Clinton staff.
"left his position as self-described "chief political strategist" for the Clinton-Gore campaign over a sex scandal, involving a $200-an-hour hooker with whom he allegedly was having an extramarital affair and with whom he shared White House secrets"
Wow, you all are so interested in bashing Dick Morris that you never even acknowledged or defended Obama.
So, how IS he doing in your opinion with this oil debacle?
Great job eh???
Yeah, ok, sure.

You're the one who posted the Dick Morris opinion piece. So don't come back complaining about posts expressing opinions on Morris' opinion. What did you expect to be the topic of discussion?
Obama's critics keep complaining that he "hasn't plugged the spill yet!"
Obama's backers keep complaining that he "hasn't jailed any BP execs yet!"
For Pete's sake, people. Get a grip. No one in the government or the oil industry has faced a disaster like this before. It's unprecedented and it's consuming all the petroleum engineering and technical talent in the world and they still haven't figured it out.
Exactly what does anyone expect Obama to do here? It's nothing like Katrina. No one criticized Bush for failing to stop Katrina. It was his slow response to the aftermath that was the problem. And FEMA had the equipment and resources to deal with that kind of crisis, but booted it.
Are any of you trying to argue that the feds (or anyone else) are equipped to deal with this spill?
The nation will enjoy 6 and 1/2 more years of this President. Might as well get used to it. The Republicans have nothing to offer nobody.
I know that you are dreaming! What a dream you are having! This President, has nothing of substance to offer, just look at him, his manner, his stupid remarks, his bulling, i can go on. And thug style Politics, agree with me or else! And SPEND SPEND, AND MORE SPEND.
So no thoughts, comments or anything to start a discussion, huh. Just copy and paste a link and then move on. Perhaps even the OP didn't want to be bothered with reading it.
Excuse me. All of that is leftover flotsam from the Bush Administration.
Right. Blame Bush. I forgot.
1. Bush, after leaving office, has held Obama captive and has forced him to spend $1 trillion per year beyond revenues.
2. Bush pushed through "Obamacare", adding $3..2 trillion in debt
3. Bush failed to organize the army corps of engineers and oil skimmers to clean up the current oil spill. He forced Obama to wait 5 weeks before doing anything, as Bush had him bound up and gagged in the oval office.
4. Bush forced Obama to abandon traditional alliances built over 30 years and abandon the Brits, the Israelis, Japan, and eastern europe. Despite not being in office, he called up Obama and double dog dared him to do something REALLY stupid.
If the libs are going to blame Bush for everything, they might as well put him back in office, as they are going to blame him for every mistake Obama makes. Obama is not a leader- he is a child. I am certainly glad that Lincoln did not occupy his time blaming the previous administration, otherwise we would have lost the civil war.

Good point.
And, Pres. Washington would have been in a real pickle, with no one to blame. Obama can count his lucky stars that it was Bush and not Clinton who preceded him in office.
