He is the ONLY Republican in Congress who hates war, hates greedy bankers, hates corruption, hates intrusion on our privacy (voted against Patriot Act), hates those who would restrict our civil liberties (voted against a constitutional ban on gay marriage) , and loves this nation and actually KNOWS what made us great.
He may not become President; but that's the beauty and irony of it all. He's about the only Congressman who does it like the founders wanted it (some others like Kucinich, Sanders, Feingold excepted). He's not perfect, and I would like him to stick up more for abortion rights & gay rights, but he's about the closest we have in Congress to an actual libertarian.

Ron Paul isn't racist. He has said many times how racism is an ugly form of collectivism, incompatible with libertarianism. As for the fact that white supremacists like him, a lot of Nation of Islam crazies like Obama, but that doesn't reflect on his views (unless of course you're a Freeptard). Also, it just so happens that white supremacists tend to be paleoconservatives.
