Jesus would turn in his grave if he knew what kind of people call themselves Christians and refer to him.

What does the h stand for anyway? I just ignored that statement, the title says enough...

I guess the Amish are pretty much the only Americans who lead Christian lives.

Exactly! Honestly, I think if Jesus were real, he'd probably be a socialist.

There is a big difference in giving to the poor and being forced to give to the poor.
Pretty sure Jesus would take a choice, over forced.

Why do conservatives hate Jesus call to give to the poor?
How on earth did you arrive at that conclusion?

I always laugh when I see this excuse!

Any Christian who does not give to help the poor is not really a Christian in the first place, right?

Acts 4:32-35
The Believers Share Their Possessions

32All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.
