Long road to oil cleanup looms over Gulf Coast - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100607/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gulf_oil_spill - broken link)

On a CNN segment yesterday FL Gov Crist said that he had requested emergency/disaster federal relief for the state in part because of the damage to oyster beds in Tampa.
Why anyone would think that the west coast of FL wouldn't be affected at some point I don't know.
Several people have presented ideas for removing the oil from the water and that sounds like a priority to me.
