It is the historic premise of democracy that even the ignorant are given a vote, so the point you make is irrelevant and will remain so.

Rather than attempting to heap judgment on others, why not try the approach of working with people to make NOW better?

No one wants to work with arrogant people.

The Farm Bill doesn't help the small farmer like many think.
The biggest recipients of the Farm Bill are millionaires living in cities and companies like Cargill and Monsanto.

And we've seen the bailouts to industries that didn't deserve them.
A businessman would have helped Ford over bailing out GM/Chrysler.

Even if the focus changed to them it still would only benefit the few at the top that have strangleholds.

IMHO..big business is too big and should not be the recipient or favored party of government grants/subsidies/bills.

Ford never needed a bailout, and helping out gm/chrysler was needed. Unlike the banks which were just greedy white collar cronies with deep ties to W and the right, the auto companies are one of the major backbones of america. GM paid back the grant fairly quickly and is now pulling in some nice profits showing it works when going to those who really need it. The bank CEO's have been doing nothing but having lavish vacations at tax payer expense.

Those responding Democratic averaged 4.59 incorrect answers.
The left flunks Econ 101, but at least some of them are finally catching on to the fact that Obama is making things worse. The percentage of Dems who think Obama's economic policies are making conditions worse nearly quadrupled from June 2009 to June 2010.

The auto companies are not just GM/Chrysler. Ford/Toyota/Honda are more solvent and also kept with changes over the other two. Union influence played a big part here.

GM paid back the government money with other borrowed government money. The CEO came out and admitted that.
