"Federal officials asked about the second leak in a morning briefing could not verify its existence, or provide details."

Odd that FOX never reported what is in the article posted by the OP:
what am I saying, there's nothing odd about that...

"Skytruth first reported the leak on its website on May 15. Federal officials mentioned it in the May 1 trajectory map for the Deepwater Horizon spill, stating that oil from the Ocean Saratoga spill might also be washing ashore in Louisiana."

"Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, who is heading the government's efforts to stem the BP spill, told reporters that the Coast Guard is looking into the possible second leak and would release a statement on its findings." (http://www.cnbc.com/id/37575052 - broken link)

Your turn meson!

Sounds like the Obama administration is trying their best to withhold information about the second oil leak and keep it a secret from the public. So much for Obama's transparency!!! Could it be that Obama is the one that needs his own ass kicked? I'd say so...for a multitude of reasons!

Your turn meson!
My turn to do what, I already pointed out where in your original link federal
officials acknowledged there was a leak on May 1.

Please tell us why Obama and his administration have not come forward and made statements about this second leak to the public in a fully transparent way.

Also, can you explain why Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen was unaware of the second leak? The obviously unaware Admiral "told reporters that the Coast Guard was looking into the possible second leak and would release a statement on its findings"?

Let's see meson...do you care to explain how the U.S. Minerals Management Service (which regulates offshore drilling) was unaware of this spill? Wall Street didn't even know about this second leak because only today the owner (Diamond Offshore) of the leaking rig's stock price was impacted by today's news and hit a new low!!! I can't wait to hear the explanation!

"The U.S. Coast Guard is looking into the report of a new oil leak, Lt. Commander Chris O’Neil said in a telephone interview. The U.S. Minerals Management Service, which regulates offshore drilling, also is checking into the alleged spill..."

Dude you were the one who posted the link that said federal officials
were aware of the leak, ask them to explain yourself...

I knew you wouldn't have an answer!

It's all Obama's fault. The incompetent usurper thug has failed once again.
