What would you pick? Buy a new Corvette GS now or save enough money and buy a used Porsche 911 Carrera S?

I really like 911 but it's too expensive to buy it new. Since I don't want to pay interest to finance a used car, I'd have to wait until I have enough money.

When deciding between a Corvette and another Porsche, I'd pick a Corvette. Choosing between a Corvette and a 911, I'd pick a 911--no contest. 'Vettes are a dime a dozen compared to the 911. Pricing aside, Porsches are expensive for a reason...and IMO, it would be worth it.

You've posted numerous threads asking for opinions and everyone has responded with their $0.02.

Test drive both and decide from there! How does one go from looking at a $25k Mustang to a $100k Porsche 911 S though?! That's a leap that I never hear anyone who is seriously considering a vehicle making.

A used 911 Carrera S is about $55K and still has a year of warranty left.

GS vettes are way too much money for a stock Vette with flared fenders....the ZO6 however is the real deal. I have owned a 911, never a Vette so I guess that would tell you how I voted with my own money!

I'd get a GS with the glass targa. A 911 is an old persons car.

Put on a full exhaust and enjoy the rumble of an American V8.
