Fort Pierce is a city coming back, don't get me wrong. I don't hate it, I'm just curious as to how you guys feel about it. Please don't portray me as the bad guy!

let's hope for the best. Ft. Pierce will be a very nice place if "renovated"
in the last few years I have seen midle class neighborhoods becoming getho places...all because of loss of jobs.

By " Bad Guy" I mean the pessimist who finds everything hopeless.

There use to be a really neat B&B that overlooked the water which was situated under the great expanse of the bridge. Canoing, boating and all that. I hope the place is still a B&B and is safe and thriving as it would be a shame to have lost that. Wish I could remember the name of the inn but it escapes me.

Anyone remember seeing a gourmet restaurant called 11 Maple Drive? Awsome food and ambiance. So many pretty places that I hope do not give way to ruin.

11 Maple Drive is further south. I believe it is in Jensen Beach. I drove by not to long ago and it is still there and I am sure still serving wonderful food.

My mother in-law lives in a gated community in Ft. Pierce, but that did not stop her from being beat up and robbed in her driveway. She was over 60 yrs old at the time. It is not a safe place to live. The only way to clean it up is to put these bad people away for many, many, years.
