I am a retired state trooper from up north. I am seeking a 3 BR in a nice area of PSL or surrounding towns. Looking in the $700-$950 a month range. Any one have any suggestions? Any Realtors wanna chime in? Good middles schools are also important.

Good luck! That price is a little low, but hopefully a good realtor can steer you in the right direction. Also, check out tcpalm.com and craigslist.

What grade is your child/children in? PSL is trying to save money and going to a K-8 and high school program. Depending on what grade he/she is in, you may want to do research on that. Hope you find a decent place!

Also try zillow.com for some rental info. I hope you don't have pets, though. Seems most rentals will not take them, based on what I have seen on Zillow.

The only problem I found with zillow when I was looking was that they seemed awful slow updating the inventory. Half of the homes I inquired about while living in NC were already rented. I didn't find our current house until I actually came down here and looked with a realtor myself.

Thank you ll for the info. Son is 12 years old going into the 7th grade. We would consider a 2 bedroom. I just need an extra room for a home office.
