Can anyone lead me in the right direction here? I have visited the Melbourne area for 4 years now and its time to move. I had not ventured far from A1A, near Lou's Blues area, at the Hilton.
I'm looking at moving in Dec, 2012 this year. But confused as to what area exactly.
I'm looking to rent an apartment, as I do not want the upkeep up of house or condo.
Looking at about 700 or so for rent. 2 bedroom, 2 bath is possible. A SAFE, CLEAN, nieghborhood is vital.
Closer to the beach is better.
I'm reading reviews on city-data.com and that made me more confused.
Anyway I wanted to get down there next week or the next, but my busy schdule will not allow for me to get there before I move.
Any suggestions on an area, that is not too laid back, but not to busy either? Not to young, not to old, nothing against them, I'm not young myself, lol, but looking to meet people middle age and who like to still have a little fun at times. I still enjoy concerts, festivals, live bands in bars, wine tasting, love the beach. A neighborhood close to more than a few attractions, shopping, movie theathers, etc. A place you don't have to go far to enjoy a night out.
I've been considering Melbourne Beach, Vero Beach, Satellite Beach, Cocoa Beach, Indian Harbour, Indianlantic, Veira.
A few apartment complexes I've considered are Kyles Run in Vero Beach, The Palms at Vero Beach, Indian River, Vero Beach, River park, Vero Beach. Courtyard on the green, Melbourne, Carribbean Isle, Melbourne, Wickham club, Melbourne. Shoreview, Satellite Beach.
Any ideas on any of these or any place you would recommend to rent would be very helpful at this time.
I do believe before signing a lease anywhere, I will come and get a hotel for about a week, but having a few places to check out before arriving would save me a lot of time.
Thank you in advannce for your time.
Dee
