I will be driving from Stuart to Bradenton, and was wondering if anyone has tried either road and had any good/bad experiences or opinions.

We used to live in Bradenton and travel there from Palm City frequently to visit relatives. We always take 714 to 710 to SR 70. I dont think you can take 64 all the way across. I think you would have to go north on 27 from SR 70 to get it.

Just don't drive 70 or any rural road at night. It is becomming very dangerous because of the 400lb plus pigs standing in the middle of the road at night. They are black and you can't see them until they are rolling up your hood and coming through the windshield or smashing the whole side out of your car.

Yes, I would not want to drive any of the state roads at night, particularly since I'll be driving alone. Too desolate, and I wouldn't feel that safe with no one around.

I drove 70 today and saw a dead boar (and about 5 raccoons total in a 4 hour drive) on the side of the road. The boar was huge and no longer in one piece. That would be scary and dangerous to hit, especially at night!
