it has nothing to do with "drumming up business" but is has been reported on City- Data today.
Now I call first before I even show them a house.
Just this morning, 4 out of 6 homes are already gone. At this rate by the end of the day all the homes in florida will be sold.

From my personal experience the house market in PSL has a shrinking inventory and prices are going up. I don't know if the houses are actually selling for the high price though. This is based on my own experience and not data driven. I have been in the house hunt the past year. Finally found a home and closing is scheduled for the end of this month. Hoping everything goes smoothly!

ya know Jersey.... you are such a pessimist .....I'm a realist

OK ..boy and girls as of right now...... and without houses under contract and not yet closed, and not including anything for sale by owner or by anyone not in MLS

There have been, in Port Saint Lucie -- priced from $100,000 to $150,000 - from JANUARY 1, 2013 to today...828pm...June 10th

a whopping 890 HOMES SOLD-- data provided by the MLS. Again, this does NOT include houses that are IN CONTRACT but have not yet closed.

Don't believe me? Call the St Lucie Regional MLS Board... 772-465-6080 and ask then directly.

oh.. and there are another 500 that are listed at "contingent" or "pending" ...which means they are under contract and not yet closed.

THIS does not include the houses with contracts that have not had the status changed to contingent or pending like the ones I have been calling on.... they all had full price cash offers on them.... odd, at this price range, but reality...

again.. dont believe me?? call the board

This behavior is unbecoming of both the person instigating it and the one responding. I'm not sure the image you both are projecting is one you guys should be proud of. It's certainly not the behavior of adults or professionals.

Thank You, just as no one posted on your one and only link and post concerning RE in the NJ forum the day I posted something negative here. I've been coming here for about 30 years and have real estate here. But your entitled to post wherever you want to as I am and I didn't jump on your reason that you posted.
