Thanks. I ride by a couple times week. Sidewalks went in this week and nice landscaping. Lots of work going on inside.

I hate to rain on the parade but my wife went in to an Aldi's last week and found that it was terrible and would not consider going back. I hope it works out because anything is better than Publix.

Different strokes for different folks psl. We had them in NC and I love them. They own Trader Joe's, and the concept is similar. You either love em or hate em!

Just because one Aldi is by, doesn't mean the others will be. My MIL goes to one in the Bronx and she loves it!

Don't forget to have a quarter to get a cart!
And bring bags
or
be prepared to scavenge for boxes while you shop!

I wish EVERY store around here charged a quarter to use their buggies. Maybe then I wouldn't have scratches and dents from all the lazy POS shoppers at Walmart that can't push it to a freakin corral 10 feet from their car!!

Agreed , had them in Western NY and I liked them as well... Bring my bags to Publix anyway and the quarter you will get back . Also like to bag my own groceries , brings back fond memories of my first job in a supermarket. When they open the one in Jensen Beach I will be there weekly ...

If you don't think Publix is a decent grocery, there is no hope for you in these parts. I have my issues with Publix, but if I'm stuck with just one grocer, which one almost is in this area, I'm glad it's Publix. I'm hoping Aldi's offers an occasional choice of different or less expensive goods, but I'm not expecting to drop Publix as my regular grocery.

There is different ownership between the two. The original Aldi of Germany was founded by two brothers, and the company split into Aldi Nord and Aldi Sud in 1966. Aldi Nord owns Trader Joe's, while Aldi Sud uses the Aldi name in the USA. They do use some of the same suppliers though.

I couldn't see buying all my groceries at Aldi, but there are some things they do well. I really like their cheap German and Belgian chocolate for one.
