Hi everyone! I am looking at purchasing a home in Barefoot Bay. I've looked at several manufactured home communities and the lot rent is very expensive. This was one area where you own the land. Any input? I currently live in Palm Bay and would be interested in anything there also. I am 57 and physically disabled and would be okay in a 55 plus community as well

Look around and see if you can find something CBS for a similar amount. Over here, the lots and such for manufactured were running 40k to 60k and with a unit you were looking at another 30k. CBS home in Palm Grove was 100k and it will last forever where as the manufactured home will be worthless over time.
