Anyone know what is happening over there? Are they getting ready to expand? I see the development signs but no one seems to know. I do know that a Wendy's is getting ready to break ground and Kohls will not do anything until development starts but other than that, nothing.

Did you notice the signs advertising retail space? Not sure when ground breaking will begin that is what I was wondering. Also how will this affect the time table of Kohls finishing the store. I saw the Wendys plan on a City Council meeting agenda. Same place I saw that Publix is going to build on Crosstown just west of 95. No time table on that project either.

Default Kohl's

When I was in Kohl's at the mall in February, the service desk woman told me that the Kohl's on Gatlin is scheduled to open in 2013, she didn't give me a month though.

The way I understand it was that they stopped building because the other development projects either did not sell or were stopped. They were required to finish the building to a certain point and stated that they were not going to open the store until sometime in 2014 giving the shoppig center more time to develop. The signs only went up a little over a month ago so who knows it may be a long time before anyone breaks ground. That whole area is about to take off. On the other side they are building a hospital and just south there are plans for more houses and possibly a shopping mall.
