And of course you will see all those YOUNG, high school and college girls at the beach on weekends, they all drive over from O town and other places.

Default Fun????? LOLOLOLOL

OK, you want the truth, here it is. Vero Beach could be a nice town. It's very clean. But it is a RETIREMENT community. It is essentially run by the retired and that's where the money comes from, that and the 'beach folks' who don't quite like us residents 'west of the river'. There is alot of money here, again, beachside. I am a middle-class 39 year old female with 2 small children. Vero is small town but outgrowing itself. Not a very friendly town. I know I sound negative but I have been here for more than half my life and have never grown to like it or its residents. Very stuffy. That's why I'm getting out of here as soon as our home sells. Sorry, but that's the truth. I would definately visit or rent before pruchasing, I know many others who share my view.

I agree it is more like a retirement community here....it all depends on wht you are after.... I am also 39 with 2 young boys and have moved here 19 months ago from the UK.....I am very happy here and found everyone to be friendly and welcoming...I dotn regret my decision to move here at all......(hwever although I do live in Vero Beach it is just on the outskirts of Sebastian..but I do spend time in both towns)
