Default thank you all

We have had a bunch of rain in Central Ohio. Our grass is so green. But come August it will be dry and crunchy
I will try to bring some much needed rain to FLA. Just not when we are moving our furniture
We have waited a long time for this and we are so excited. Can't believe we have only a few more weeks in OH. Our friends are having a party for us this coming weekend. I think the biggest things we will miss is our church and our dear friends.

I will keep you posted on the move. Our home is one big cardboard box right now. Imagine two type A people in a disorganized enviroment Not a good thing

Don't get me wrong, we do love the midwest area. We have been talking about this for years. Now was the right time. Plus it doesn't snow in FLA. As for work, my husband can work from anywhere. Myself, will be looking for some type of work. Its out there. May not be my "dream" job, but such is life.

Thanks again.
Have you ever spent a full summer in Flori-duh? By full I mean the entire 6 monts..

Regarding the weather, the Ohio Valley is no picnic in the summer. The rains are regular and the humidity is awful! Something about the hills trapping air that makes the Ohio Valley very unpleseant and unpredictable. In Fla, at least we don't have to deal with the snow!

You are so right! Plus we only get 137 days of sunshine per year. I'm so sick of the gray, dreary, cold days with various forms of precipitation. I had to cover my tomato plants last night because we had a frost warning. Florida sounds really good to a lot of Ohioans right now.

Well the rainy season began in Florida yesterday. There was even small talk on the Weather Channel about something tropical forming out of the current system. I doubt that will happen though. Well at least my grass is getting some much needed rain.

So true. This morning in Central OH it was 42 degrees. At least the weather for the rest of the week is looking up.
We know that FLA is not Utopia, but we can't wait. Ohio has been our home for 10 years. PA prior to that. We would take OH before PA anyday. Its going to be hard being a Buckeye fan in Gator country
But, we are will to live with it.

Thanks Sunny Dee.

Yeah, not sure we can do it. We love watching the Buckeye games. As for pro, the Steelers are our team. There has to be a pub somewhere full of Buckeye fans Or we can watch them in our screened in pool area. Can't do that in OH during the cold season
