Might be Moving to Stuart/Port Salerno/Hobe Sound
Hello all, I may have a job at the Atlantic Ridge Preserve Park starting in January for a year.
I wanted to know if I will be working there, where is the best/ closest area I should look for housing?
I may try looking for a room share in someones house on craigslist..

I don't know where you. Are working,but given the three locations you did, Hobe Sound and Stuart are nice places. Port Salerno is kind of ruff with a lot of little quality of life wrecking petty criminalities going on too often.

I will tell you about looking for anything or anybody on craigslist. I use it myself, but I am on the other end. IF you are going to look on craigslist BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. There are so many scam artist on it trying to rent you something for nothing- and we all know ..you get what you pay for. Many on there are people in foreclosure that will rent to you and then the sheriff comes knocking on your door. By that time there is NOTHING you can do about it. I have an entire thread on having a lease and someone going in to or already in foreclosure.
Second... know having a clue where that park is, I had to look it up. You are in both Stuart and Hobe Sound. That's where you should be looking. I would imagine that you will be looking for an inexpensive place to stay since you are considering rooming with someone, but to tell you the truth, I would NEVER rent from someone I had not met and seen the house and area FIRST.

Yea, I plan to go down and meet people before just moving in somewhere.
