LOL
Someone actually did not know what a spade was?
As for the snakes, kill every single one you see.
There are idiots everywhere who buy these nasty things, poisonous and non poisenous, and then they just let them go. Those people need to be jailed.
In south Florida there is a HUGE problem with predatory snakes of all sorts.
Those idiots are turning loose their giant snakes that they cannot manage. Do some research on the internet and it will scare the daylights out of you. There is more than one task force dedicated to killing the non native species. The Anacondas, Boas etc. eat anything warm blooded. When they run out of things to eat in the south, they will do what is natural, migrate north.

Hello All!

I found this message interesting because I am thinking of relocating to Saint Lucie, Fl as well! I have 2 cats that are indoor/outdoor. I was thinking of renting a condo/townhouse or apartment. Is it safe for the cats to roam as they like outside? Living in PA there is no threat of any other animal hurting them. Possibly a bear, but that is very very doubtful. Would it have to be a community that does not have a lake or water by it so they are safe? Thanks

No reason to worry about your cats wandering outside. Lizards make great toys! but..

you can bet on the neighbors or the complex not liking the cats wandering outside at all and will ask that you keep them inside.
