It is located on York Street where Danforth Street meets it, but I can't remember the name.

Here is a picture on google street view:

Google Maps

I used to go there all the time in the late 90's. They had a free buffet spread on one night of the week, which was pretty good. Often, the band Motor Booty Affair played there.

Does anyone know the name of it?

Thanks...the strange thing is when I went there in the late 90's, it wasn't called "Raoul's". I am thinking of maybe the "Asylum", but I could have that mixed up with another club.

I think you're thinking of what used to be Giobbi's - and is now a Japanese Restaurant. I went there a few times, but never to see the MBAffair....

I believe it was also known as The Tree Cafe after Giobbi's and before its current incarnation.

Interesting, but it wasn't called Giobbi's or The Trees Cafe in the late 90's. I remember you had to walk upstairs to the club. There was a bar area, some tables, and a large dance floor.

No, that wasn't it either, but thanks. For the life of me, I can't think of the name.

Now that I looked at the picture, I agree. They used to brew their own beer there and I saw Matthew Sweet play there in the late 90s. I don 't remember any dance area, but that wasn't my thing back then.
