Default Moving/Unloading Help

I am a single/divorced woman, 46 years old, planning to relocate to the Portland area in October 2012 and I will be towing a U-Haul trailer full of mostly boxes of books and clothes and DVDs and of course the inevitable furniture like bookcases and dressers and stuff.

I'm disabled and while I can manage the boxes, I can't do the furniture alone.

At this end, in Scranton, I can rely on a whole bunch of people who will gladly help load the trailer up for me.... I am making this move on a shoestring budget and trying to recover from a bad relationship/total life change. I am open to any/all suggestions on how I might find some help to unload my trailer when I get there?

it's really not a ton of heavy stuff, everything is just two-man heavy and I can do no real heavy lifting, so.... would really love to know what ideas y'all might have....

thank you SO much for any suggestions/help you can offer.... =) I'm sure I'll be posting a lot in these forums in the next couple of weeks.... am making a scouting expedition in mid-Sept to take a look at several winter rentals.... thank GODS for Craigslist....

SO most if not all , winter rentals are furnished. I'm sure you'll still need help....But you'll need to look for storage for your furniture if that's the route your going. I'm sure you'll figure it out once you visit. Just wanted to put that idea/reminder that they are furnished in your head.

I am hoping that when they say "furnished" they don't mean JAMMED with furniture LOL most of my stuff is not necessarily going to get in the way, so I'm hopeful that I could, for example, set up my bookcases in and around the rest of the stuff in one of the rooms, etc. Or perhaps one of the bedrooms can be rearranged for them, etc. I don't have any living room or dining room furniture so it wouldn't require much change in the main rooms.... thanks for the thoughts about that. I hope to be able to avoid having to store my stuff in a separate place, it would be easier stored in the house basement or spare room or something if possible =)
