I have been apartment hunting lately and I have been wondering if it's more cost effective to rent an apartment with or without heat included. Advice would be much appreciated!

With heat included. Even though prices fluctuate they are always moving up long term. generally Landlords are not in a position to adjust rents at the same rate of inflation. It will mean you can budget yourself better. As a landlord it NEVER makes sense to include heat if the building has separated utilities. Tenants Are never reliable when it comes to being efficient..
