Smile Yarmouth?

Hi. I am also planning a move from MD to ME this spring/summer and I am considering a house in Yarmouth. I have, so far, been pretty adamant about finding a spot in Cape Elizabeth or Falmouth because of the schools and their proximities to Portland. However, i was pleased to learn that Yarmouth schools are excellent as well. But, it is a little ways (10 extra min or so?) from Portland.

Can anybody please give me their take on Yarmouth? Some pluses and minuses? Is there any beach access, parks, trails, etc? Seems like a nice little community, but tough to tell while i was there on a cold February Sunday.

thanks for any info!

See the post Yarmouth VS Cumberland. I wrote extensively about Yarmouth in that post.
