Default Maine Nurses?

My wife and I have been planning our "Big" move for some time and are finally ready! I am a RN ans she is a LPN. Is the opportunity for nusing as big in Maine as most other state's? I see some advertisement's and have phoned some. Kinda got a mixed feeling....just looking for some help.

Tons of jobs for nursing in Maine. ER, acute, LTC, psych etc., just like everywhere else. You might take a pay cut, depending on where you are relocating from. Only one magnet hospital I am aware of.

LoreneS is on a distinguished road
Yes, lots of nursing opportunities in the Portland area. Maine Med and Mercy Hospital. Rehab and Nursing homes galore. Maine Med has a new Women and Infant building that is 4 floors. Also a Children's Hospital in the Magnet Hospital.
