If you like bowling, I mean real bowling, uh, I mean ten-pin bowling then you are going to be SOL. There is one place in West Brook, but since it is the only place it is pretty packed.

This post is a little old but I've got to get my 2 cents in. There's lots to do in Portland for young people but these entertainment venues are very disproportionately weighted toward single young males. The M/F ratio is the worst I have ever seen anywhere. The PDX area has experienced a huge influx of people, primarily single men. It's great if you're single woman but if you're a guy you might want to reconsider moving there.

Portland is about a 9th the size of Seattle, and the Portland's metropolitan area is a 6th the size of Seattle's. If that helps.
