Default freeport school system

Hey everyone,
I am curious about the Freeport school system. I looked at Yarmouth and Cumberland school district and they seem to be totally lopsided with only university bound kids and offer little for "other kids, with other strengths". Ideally I would like a solid school system for my children where they will have AP classes offered to them as well as "normal classes" and technical classes for vocational careers. I went to a high school where you were looked at as a loser if you didnt attend a university, which in my opinion is ridiculous and narrow minded.

Freeport schools are not a whole lot different than Yarmouth,Falmouth and Cumberland. There is a good vocational school in Brunswick and it's proximity allows for some Freeport students to take Voc courses. In this day and age if you don't have a college degree good luck getting any kind of job. Freeport school systems ,as most others ,realize this and concentrate on getting their students prepared for college.
I find it ususual a parent would want to find a school that limits their child's chances to attend a decent secondary school...

Yup, Greely, Yarmouth, Freeport and Falmouth are very similar. All have new facilities. My kids went to Greely, one still there. Interestingly, the towns are very diferent. Cumberland is a sleepy bedroom community, except when the schools are starting or letting out then it's total chaos, Freeport is the "town that retail built and Yarmouth is a nice mix of commercial developement along Rt 1, on the ocean and some beautiful older homes.
