Hey, we went to the PMA last Friday night- great show on Impressionist works. Were you there the same night?

Moughie, if we had been there at the same time I thnk we could have recognized each other just from our on-line introductions....I have an image in my mind of you and your DH as a couple....I might or might not be sure enough about it to approach strangers and ask....could you by any chance be..........?
We were there the week the show opened.....I was amazed....at the beauty of the works on display....those huge landscapes ..... many of which are familiar from college dorm posters and plates in coffee table books....the dazzling light and colors.....the charm of the subjects...I felt oh so privleged to be in their presence.....The other featured exhibit of the tx of animals in American art from colonial times to the present day is also outstanding, the cow sculptures (I believe they are the work of a Maine artist) were really fun.
I looked up the artist who did the cow and barnyard wooden sculptures....
"Old Town, Maine native Bernard Langlais, is best remembered for his brilliant wood sculptures such as
Animal Farm, 1963." His work must bring a smile to every face!
